How the free trial works
We call it a Soft Day Guest visit. Your dog gets to know us, and we get to know your dog.

Monday to Friday. Drop off 12:00–12:30 pm, pick up 4:00–4:30 pm. No charge.

Vaccines checked first
Before the visit we review Bordetella, distemper and rabies. We'll tell you how to send them.

Questions people ask
What are your daycare hours?
Daycare runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
Running late? You can pick up your dog until 6:00 pm.
Free trials run 12:00 to 4:30 pm.
Are you open on holidays?
Daycare is closed on federal holidays, plus the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Boarding stays open 24/7, 365 days a year.
Do you board dogs overnight?
Yes. Boarding runs 24/7, including holidays.
New dogs start with the free trial. Then they do 2 to 3 full daycare days before their first overnight, so they already know us and the room.
What vaccines does my dog need?
Bordetella, distemper and rabies, up to date. We review them before the free trial.
How do I change my dog's schedule?
Email itsawonderfullife@dorothyspetcare.com. Schedule changes go by email so nothing gets missed.
